FItting a filter into the filler neck means that no water can enter your fuel system and 99.98% of all contaminants will be removed. This prolongs the life of your fuel pump and means you can clock up the miles without worrying about injector blockages.

The filter is constructed using their HDM3D matrix, a material that gives far superior filtration than anything else on the market. The factory fit internal fuel pump filter is rated at 60 microns and is so small it can clog easily. With this neck prefilter the service life of the internal filter is greatly extended and your injector will be protected from contamination blockages.

To fit the filter remove the flange and insert the filter gently by using the head of the supplied cable tie to make sure the corners are fully extended. Push the cap level with the tank surface and refit the flange. For the CJ Design billet small cap Acerbis adapter, the filter can be either mounted on top below the screw cap or under the adapter.
