This is a DRY mesh media filter, meaning it doesn’t need solvents to clean it, or oils to charge it for use. Used dry it’s the best companion for any trip, touring or travel around the world, far better engine responsiveness and better MPH/gal KM/lit than stock. In more extreme terrain just add a few drops of air filter oil, and it becomes the most advanced barrier against sand and fine dust.
